Preorders 6 months early are irrelevant.. there will be more than one SKU come holiday season.
Exactly what I've been saying from the day the One was announced. How could they NOT know that gamers (aside from DW) were going to absolutely hate the restrictions on their system It's pretty mind-blowing actually.
none of this crap really matter. x1 is 5 months away, its not like anyone bought a damn thing and got robbed. nothing came out of yalls pockets. ms changed this almost a half year before the console even comes out. chil out people.
and i hope the 500 price tags make the x1 easy to find this holiday cause i want to resell a couple.
Preorders are irrelevant full stop. Pretty sure every console since PS1 sold out before launch.
I don't get the mentality that I am seeing on this board. If M$ had no competition they would have fully enforced all of these restrictions. They didn't change anything for the people and our opinions were not of their concern. We all heard it straight from the horses mouth with responses like who doesn't always have there Xbox online or if you want to play an offline system then play the 360. Screw these guys seriously. It would be awesome if everyone would just boycott the X1. They should be taught a lesson for being so greedy but I keep hearing oh well I'm back on the Xbox wagon. Well good for you and if the Sony systems ever go away just know that M$ is going to rape you at the first opportunity they see.
like Sony wouldnt
Sony never announced such news so we don't know. Until they do something as blatantly stupid as M$ has then I will consider them the good guys. They are the only reason console gamers are not having to live with these restrictions so you should probably thank them also. I'm an Xbox guy and have been since the original so this is not bias at all.
what is Sonys stance on backwards compatability?
Neither. However on Sony supposedly the gaikai cloud gaming is supposed to stream older games to the platform. I'm not sure why it's so hard to make em backwards compatible, but they never seem to want to do it.
the game systems I have are OLD
but I plan on getting something for the kids this Christmas. Assuming my wife thinks its a good idea so Im 50/50 - lol
