So what are you saying? That it's ok to look like a retard as long as your whole body is being tracked? Just remember that this so called gay wagging wrist motion is the reason why Sony and MS decided to invest in their respective projects.

Anyhow, the natal project does look impressive and it has a lot of potential if done right. I'm not a fan of those arcade type of games they showed but the voice and body recognition, navigating the dashboard with your hands, etc. were cool stuff. The milo thing was cool in a creepy way... I'm sure it will be a dream come true for every pedofile out there.

Toly is right, Natal is coming because Wii was so successful at getting the non-traditional gamers to buy.

And you really can't tell me that people look any stupider playing Wii than they do in that ridiculous promo video. Fake movement is fake movement. It's not a question of how it looks, it's whether it's fun/challenging to do.

I just think what was shown at the Sony both has more conventional potential than the NATAL. I just can't see it being incorporated viably for a while, while I think Sony's could be used sooner. The NATAL was more ambitious, no question, but a bit more impractical IMO.

Natal isnt just something for gaming. the technology could be used in many different ways.

the minority report movie for example isnt to far from being real.

Right now it may be the biggest leap in video games since 2d went to 3d. The best thing about it is you dont have to have a remote.

wouldnt it be nice to be in the kitchen and being able to turn up your tv without going to get the remote in the living room? You hands will always be with you and they dont need batteries.

We're close to a technology in which we will be able to see future murders and prevent them from happening?

    :eh?:

The Wii is gay in comparison. Because it's just a wagging of the wrist. You don't play soccer by wagging your wrist. You don't even throw a football by wagging your wrist.
Though the Wii did spawn this technology- no denying that.

It's not just 360. This shows the potential of games for all consoles in the future and it's closer than we thought. The characters watching you from the screen and all is awesome. Following you with their eyes and all while talking to you.
