As I said in the other Titans/Raiders thread before it got lost in the hack, I do think this game is going to be a bit tougher than many are expecting. However...
Don't make me laugh. I don't think very many people outside of Oakland would agree with the above statement. I could see the Titans conceivably losing this game (I'm not that smug), but I definitely can't see a stomping. Your defense may be improved but do you really think they're going to be able to stop CJ and our O-line? And is Jason freaking Campbell and Bruce Campbell (a rookie) really going to make your offense that much better? The Raiders had the second worst offense in the league last year. I just don't see that big of a jump happening so quickly. Sure getting rid of JaMarcus was addition by subtraction but it isn't as if he was Oakland's only problem offensively.

    It was the same in 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003...why would 2010 be different?

Uhh insert a rookie MLB, rookie DE, a scrub from the Browns who's played rush linebacker his entire career and Jason freaking Campbell. What tremendous, vast improvements. :sad2:

I hate the Raiders, your franchise is such a joke it's unbelievable, thanks for giving the Patriots a top five pick in this upcoming draft for a player you haven't even been able to sign for two years who's going to walk like every other free agent that goes to Oakland with a brain :grrr:

You sound just like my friend who is a die-hard Lions fan. Every year, without fail, he claims that they are vastly improved and those years of sucking are over and done with. Then he proceeds to watch his beloved team embarrass themselves for the entire season, yet again. It's really sad actually.

I take it you didn't see this game. It's a good thing we had CJ on that drive.

Oh is that all the raiders have to do? How easy.

The Titans play a smaller faster style of defense. They are one of the fastest teams in the league and too fast for the Raiders.

Raiders are not that huge on the offensive front anyway. Only 2 guys with real size.

Trust me, your not going stop CJ. You act like teams weren't game planing for him last year. You should be happy if he the final score is even close.

That is the question can Raiders rebuilt front seven stop Chris Johnson. Raiders Front seven is way bigger than the Titans oline. Even Chris Johnson needs a hole to exploit. Again we won't know till we see this rebuilt defense on the field.

No doubt Raiders oline will play a hugh role in just how good their offense will be next season. Don't fool yourself due to injuries last two years on Oline Raiders haven't been able to put out the Oline they envisioned .

LG R Gallery 6'7 325 who missed most of last year due to injury is raiders best olineman. His loss really effected LT Mario Henderson6'7 307 who looked like a diffrent player when gallery played next to him. C Samson Satele 6'4 305 - took him most of the year to get comfortable playing in Raiders zone blocking scheme as he strictly came from a man on man blocking scheme. There a chance that rookie 6'8 315 Jared Veldheer could win the Center job from Satele. RG- Khalif barnes 6'6 325 Jaguars longtime LT was suppose to be the RT last year but had injury in training camp early derailed any chance of that happening.(came back first game regular season) Rookie Bruce Campbell 6'7 315 is battling Barnes for Rg. Langston Walker 6'8 360 is battling Veldheer for RT.

Okay a Oline of Lt Mario Henderson 6'7 305 LG R Gallery 6'7 325 C Samson Satele 6'4 305 / Veldheer 6'8 315 Rg K Barnes 6'7 325 and Rt Langston walker 6'8 360 is alot of size for your undersized front seven to deal with.
Than you have to deal with M bush pounding the rock and one of the best young tes in the Afc in Zach miller.

Now you have to remember Raiders lost their best and most experience 2 year WR Cahaz Schilens 6'4 225 sub 4.4 sped for most of the year(hurt in preseason. Never was healthy last year asa he had to have surgury this year to correct last year surgury.

Louis Murphy who put up the most yards on D revis that any Wr put up on him last year. and Dhb(looks alot diffrent this year) are no longer rookie Wr's. Good LUck trying to cover D Mcfadden matched up on your lbs or safety. (Campbell is alot better than Russell getting to a skill player at right time where they can do some serious daMAGE.

Lets see Signed DT John Henderson 6'7 335 who strictly a run defender this point of his career. NOW you add Henderson to DT Tom Kelly 6'6 335 with RDE Richard Seymour 6'6 310 and LDe Rookie De Lamarr houston 6'3 305 . Thats four Dts eating up all the blockers on your Oline. Now throw in the General MLB rolando MCClain 6'4 255 who shouldn't see much traffic .(as he will run free to the football) Now On the outside you have Wlb Trevor scott 6'5 255 and K wimbley 6'4 255 / Q Groves 6'3 265 Thats alot beef in the front seven.

Those Olbs will move to De on the passing downs with Thomas Howard their premier cover Lb coming in on passing downs.

Reread my offense part in previous post.
