Would You Give it back?

No way you make that trade. I love CJ, think he will be a great player, but what if he's injured, what if he just doesn't turn out to be as good as people think? For all you guys living in Madden football, the purpose of football is to win games, not get draft picks. You can "win" the draft every year, the purpose of the game is to win on the field. The draft is only an aquisition of prospects. Prospects who have never played a down of NFL football. Everyone get's excited by what may happen if we get this player or that player, I love the draft, but I wouldn't trade the excitement I had the second half of last season for 15 minutes of happiness over someone who has never played a down in the NFL.

And guys, the talent is not gone after the second round. I could build an all star team out of guys taken after that, I mean come on!

 

Honestly, being a Georgia Tech fan, I don't think Calvin is THAT big of a deal. I don't think he's near as good as he's made out to be, and I definitely don't think he's a once-a-generation type receiver. Many times he'd only run the deep route and would trip over the defender or run out of bounds. You always knew he could make that one play - but you'd be waiting all game - for that ONE play.
He's Roy Williams pt 2 IMO, and I love Roy Williams, but we all know he's not dominant. Hopefully he will be in a few years though.

On another note though, Calvin did have to suffer with Reggie Ball throwing to him. :barf:

 

Give up last year for Calvin Johnson. Vince young would first be starting in 07 and he would shock everybody. Calvin would win the ROY the titans make it to the playoffs. Then the nxt year, Vince/ Calvin get on the cover of Madden. One of the Wins the MVP award and both take home a piece of the lombardi trophy.
