Kerry Collins did! VY just needs to work at being a passer. He's a good QB but just not with all the tools yet.

They dropped some catchable balls, but I think it was because they were taken off-guard because they were catchable. lol

Yeah, our highest scoring game is when Collins played against the Texans and Roydell had a great game.

The giants need to pray to the god of skinny punks that Eli doesn't get hurt....or they will get to see the "lemon" in action.

Notice the graceful white gloves ... Uh oh she's been spooked. Paralized with fear it looks as if this Carr-alope is going to take another sack.

    Carr over harrington..

Actually carr had his worst season last year putting up worse numbers than even in his rookie year. From 04-06 he wasn't that bad putting up an average passing rating over 80. After the 04 season it looked like he might be ready to break loose but he leveled off and then stunk it up last year.

    An interesting question.

Out of these 4 first rd disappointments which guy or guys could succeed with the right team and situation.

    Leftwich
    harrington
    boller
    carr

Jake plummer was a significantly better QB at denver than he was in arizona. In fact shanahan actively went after him despite a bad win loss record and TD to int ratio. Who would you want if you needed a QB?.

not sure any of them could. I wouldn't label plummer in Denver as success either.

boller I guess. less negativity. it's close. leftwich would be second. between carr and harrington it's pretty much a toss up. They are both so awful.

I'd say Leftwich is the best candidate with Harrington a close second. Leftwich has to have a good O line but otherwise he can be effective. Harrington would do well with a good supporting cast. Boller can't play at all and Carr cannot get the ball out quickly.
