People are going to knock it but Floyd looks like he will be a beast in the pros. We do need a legit playmaker at the receiver beside Britt. This will take pressure off of him and give Locker weapons. Munch did say he wants to go defense in the first round though.

    What weapons!?

Has everyone forgotten what Washington did last year? The emergence of Cook and Williams showing promise? Why is receiver even remotely being talked about like its an major concern.

Maybe because Washington will be in his 8th season granted did have the best season of his career. Britt has yet to play a full season. Williams showed strides but is not a number 1 receiver and lets face it Washington isn't either.

Washington proved he can carry the load worse comes to worse. If everyone views Britt as a liability he should be gone but no one wants to admit that.

You can't just ignore young guys like Williams because he hasn't put up Randy Moss numbers out the gate, these things take time. For once, we have a receiving corp that is not in the bottom 10 in the league, and people want us to spend a high pick on a receiver or spend a ton of money on one.:sad2:

We have 2 maybe even 3 big needs on just the offensive line, 2 on the defensive line. Not to mention the fact we have no starting free safety and the only reason no one is talking about replacing Babs is because he sucks so much more less than any other safety on our roster.

Wide receiver is our second lowest need outside the quarter back position.

People want to draft a WR every year. Even when Britt was going off people were trying to convince themselves that having Britt and Justin Blackmon was the only way to go. It's a flashy position, you can't blame them.

Seriously who is going to replace both our safeties and possible a corner in the draft? Every safety has big question marks. I'm not writing off Williams at all saying he needs to have Randy Moss numbers. We are a different team with Britt and if he can't stay healthy we need a play maker. Yes Washington broke 1000 yards but in a season with 16 games and us passing more 1000 yards is not what it use to be anymore.
