SUMMARY: The Titans appear to be moving along in their efforts to sign Coach Jeff Fisher to a long-term deal. With free agents looking for stability in an organization, the Titans may want to get Fisher's contract completed by the free agency start date of March 2. Negotiations are said to be positive and steps are being made towards an agreement. In December, the Titans exercised the option on Fisher's contract, keeping him in place for 2007 at a salary of roughly $5.3 million. He is the longest tenured coach currently in the NFL.

Well there goes the only FA on the market that we really needed to get, with Asante being franchised tagged. Forget nate clements he is no good, guess we just need to go to the draft now to pick up another quality corner opp pac-man.

i think our most pressing needs are as follows :

    Corner
    DE
    Safety
    WR
    DT

we may very well get the WR first, but with the way Chow utilizes WR's, it's really not a major necessity. a guy like Calvin Johnson would seriously be underused
