especially since that's like the only game where collins looked good last year...
Fairley will be gone no matter what... even if he sucks at the combine.
i dont know.... he's not even the undisputed number 1 right now... a bad combine could mean he falls for us... if his character issues like being lazy and such comes up... that can also be pushed to us...
i wanna see what happens if we get him... playing with a former coach... and munch who probably wouldn't take any crap from players... especially rookies.
Fairley could easily fall to us. Anybody could fall in this draft.
@xpmar9x : I like your first two round pics.
I think we are going to pick whomever the best player is in round 1 when our pick comes up. If the CB from Nebraska is there, I believe we will grab him up. Does anyone think there is ANY chance Mallett is still there for our 2nd round pick? ...I just don't see it, but I LOVE him!
There is a very good chance he slides into round 2 due to his rumored character concerns. We will have a better idea about that after the interviews next week during the Combine. One of Locker, Mallett, Ponder, or Kaepernick should be available at our pick in round 2. Depending on how we rate them, we may have to trade up a few picks to get the one we want.
xpar9x, I agree with rounds 3-7 but I gotta go Dareus in rd. 1 and Kaep in the 2nd.
I would rather see Dareus in round 1 as well, and move Jason Jones to DE. Morgan, Brown, Dareus, Jones would be a heck of a dline. I like Kaep in round 2, but I'm fine with Ponder, Locker, or Mallett (depending on his character concerns are true or not) as well.
I like Dareus, but if Bowers is available at our pick, i'd much rather have him. Bowers is #1 on my big board:
#1 - Bowers
#2 - Fairley
#3 - Dareus
#4 - Amukamara
#5 - Peterson
#6 - Von Miller
#7 - Rob Quinn
#8 - Gabbert
#9 - AJ Green
#10 - Cameron Jordan
looks good, but I would rank Miller at 3.... we need a good LB... I'm sick of the lack of depth in that position
