The season before at Oakland he had 63 tackles, 7 sacks, 3 PD and one int. How is that nothing?

He had 9 sacks the year before that.

The main question is why they would want to dump him after just 2 years but they had some cap issues. We don't. They also used him differently as a 4-3 OLB and DE both.

Wimbley is known for that dip move he does.

He broke Brady's nose last year, that is worth something!

What is a "Roll Tide Fan" doing as a Tennessee Titan fan??? Residing and following a major college program in NCAA history in the state of Alabama, and following an NFL team in the state of Tennessee, a major SEC rival???

Kamerion Wimbley like Will Witherspoon was a reach and hopeful signing with average results and not warranting the contract he received. Wimbley should be placed in linebacker and rush specialist packages this year (as the coaching staff is attempting to do) at the present moment. After this year, if the production and sack totals do not reach peak limits that warranted his signing to begin with, he is gone come next off season.

You make no sense. You are comparing apples to oranges. But hey, cocaine is one hell of a drug.

Go to stick your nose in the corner, and remain there.

Personally I dont care much for Wimbley. Hopefully we can replace him next offseason if he continues to suck.

The fact that Munchak actually had to make this statement shows how just much Wimbley sucks.

The main point however is simply this. If we cut Wimbley who are we gong to keep that is a better nickel pass rusher? We don't save CAP space by cutting him. So for now we want to put the best roster together we can. Also, as situational pass rusher the guy might not be so bad. He might end up with 6-7 sacks this season in a reduced roll.
