    Mike Williams vs Mccaffery

    Williams

Pros: Big, high points the ball. Good hands, (not great like people think.) Won against overrated SEC competition.

    Cons: 3 routes. Slow.

    Stats: Back-shoulder

    Mccaffery (as wr)

Pros: Fits the patriot mold of the great white hope. Can catch. Slot WRs paramount in our offense.

Cons: project? Why not just draft a WR to play WR?

    Stats: Future Fantasy Football Sleeper

    I went McCaffrey

Sure he's a project but his ceiling is higher than Williams

If not for back shoulder catches Williams would be viewed as a 3rd rounder

Plus McCaffrey is able to run sweeps, play out of the backfield, and return kicks. All pluses for the Titans

I voted McCaffery. Williams isn't a first round talent imo. Slow. Poor route runner. All he is is a jump ball specialist. I'd much rather have any of the first round pass catchers over him, Njoku included.

I would be intruiged and excited if we took McCaffery. He could mostly play receiver for the first year or two, and be out return man. Ultimately become the lightning to Henry's thunder when Murray moves on.

Guy is smart, a professional, and works hard. If we use him well, he could be a huge asset.

But, that's a big if. Do to trust the malarkey brain trust To use a guy like that correctly? I have my concerns.

But I would buy madden immediately to play the titans.

I completely agree with @JCBRAVE and @TitansWrath. I'd love to see McCaffrey at #18...if he lasts that long!

I'm not high on Williams at all! The reason Mike Williams is so good at catching the jump balls and back shoulders is....wait for it!...because he's always catching jump balls and back shoulders! There is zero separation!

I live in SC, so I've seen almost every Clemson game this past season and I'm thinking if this guy has that much trouble separating from college DB talent, what's going to happen in the NFL when he's facing guys that are always on the bigger/faster side of the guys he had trouble with in college.

In regard to McCaffrey, personally, I'm really surprised we haven't heard more about the possibility of the Titans taking him at #18 (if he falls that far). Murray is 29 and most likely has 1-2 seasons left (3 if we're really lucky).

McCaffrey would be an awesome weapon for Mariota that, like @TitansWrath stated, would be the perfect compliment to Henry. But I also agree with TW, in terms of not being sure the Titans would utilize him correctly.
