It has been successful with the typical running style QB, and being it is the flavor of the month as the wildcat was, will we adapt to it?

In 2014 when everyone has figured it out and it's no longer working we'll give it a shot.

Do you mean an "option offense"?

    Ask RG3

Number 1 ability is availability. I am not for Locker running until he learns to slide.

IDK what a read offense is, but an option offense is what we should revert back to.

If Vince Young can make us 5-2 using it, Jake Locker can make us 6-1 using it. Jake has the same athletism Vince had, but has the cerebral part that Vince lacked, so yes we need this type of offense.

After all, Jake Locker was brought in to replace what Vince Young did.

Technically I think it is called read-option. It's all the same.

I have to disagree on that. Locker was not brought in to be young 2.0

Look who drafted them. Young was drafted by bud, locker was drafted by Palmer. Palmer thought he was the best fit to run HIS option offense. He saw some Eli manning in him. Big arm, bad technique, questionable accuracy. Literally he was brought in to be Eli not Vince.

The other reason is Vince helped CJ because he had the legs to keep defenses on their heels. ... But what did we do? We changed the running game to zone read... None of this aligns with what we did with Vince.
    The Hammer high fives this.

If you are so adamant, put some thought to text and explain how changing the entire offense was gonna make him young 2.0.
