There has been a lot of talk about Albert Haynesworth and where he will be playing next year. Knowing how the Titans have treated their older players, will Keith Bulluck still be playing here next year? I know he is under contract through 2009, but anything can happen. What about the future beyond next year?

He'll be here at least next year if he's signed thru 09 and healthy...
Ray Lewis will be on the market though and his old butt will still command top dollar if not for his motivational skills..

He will be a Titan. I'll go as far as retirement.

You cannot ask this question unless you make a case fvor why he might not be a titan next year. He is signed through 09 and is playing very well. That is our answer!

Why have a poll on a nonissue?

Bulluck and thronton will be 33 when they become free agents. Thornon a year younger is a free agent after 2010. That's getting up there for a linebacker.

Derrick brooks now 35 is finally showing signs of significant decline. He is averaging about half the tackles he usually gets. Eddie robinson was a starter until age 31 for us and was basically done after that. Then you have gay ray who is still a monster and he was drafted 4 years before bulluck. So who knows?

Maybe the best thing to do is to extend both a couple of years but no way we spend big on either. It's entirely possible that our 2 starting OLB going into the 2011 season will not be bulluck or thornton.

It will be really interesting to see if we keep Bulluck, Thornton, or both. They can't both keep going forever. Bulluck has already lost some production, so I think he'd have to agree to accept a reduced role/salary to be here more than next season. We might choose to see how he's looking during the middle of next season before we make our decision. We might let him walk and lock up Thornton.

Well I've read a couple of articles that Keglar has played well in practice so he might be a future starter in a couple years and usually a team can find a good LB in the draft or free agency.

He wont be hard to replace. He isnt as good as Bob Sanders or Ray Lewis.

Yeah but it is hard sometimes to get through the typical political correct comments about rookies and what the real meat is. Right now if bulluck goes down it is allred who will play but certainly keglar has the quickness to start there and seems to be coming around.

If we were to lose bulluck after next year we will have had 2 more drafts to get some athletes there. You can never have too many good defensive players. The kvb situation has proved that.
