Will C.J.'s 4.24 stand as the fastest 40 time ever?

Another year has passed, and we're coming up on the combine in a few days. Last year Marquise Goodwin came close to C.J.'s 4.24 with a 4.27

Last year I thought going into the combine that Tavon Austin might break it, but he came up a whole tenth of a second too slow.

Since I dont know all the prospects as well as I'd like to say I do, is there anyone out there who will challenge C.J.'s 4.24?

I doubt it will be broken but if anyone does I think it'll be Dri Archer from Kent State. I also expect his cone drill/ shuttle to be crazy.

That guy may not even get drafted. But if he breaks the 40 record, he should get picked at some point.

I just don't see anyone being fast enough to break that record this year..but hey, I could be wrong. It's always when you least expect it.

I'm sure there will be some sort of track runner come through and break it. Probably will never be an effective football player, though. So much more than speed counts.

I'd love to see a free agent combine in the NFL one day, that would be pretty cool I think. Im curious as to what CJ's running these days.

I can guarantee he isn't running a 4.24, but I wouldn't put it past him still running low 4.3's

If he is running in the 4.2's still, it sure as hell doesn't show on the football field.

Pretty good when on a slow day you can run 4.4. The back from Baylor is talking like he thinks he will run sub 4.3. We shall see.

Deanthony Thomas has a chance IMO if he's running...

I think he can run anywhere from a 4.25-4.35
