3 games into the season I think it's safe to say wide receiver might be the weakest area on this team. Strong arguments can be made for cornerback and coaching/play calling, but those situations seem to be discussed frequently.

Tajae Sharpe is a very talented and promising wide out but not ready for a number one receiver role just yet, even though he unfortunately has to fill those shoes for the time being. What do you guys think should be our strategy to get a new wide out to add talent to the team and give Mariota more opportunity? The draft? Trade a player? Trade a draft pick? Or try and fight to sign a free agent? I know Michael Floyd from Arizona is a free agent at the end of this season. Or if you're trying to go cheaper there's Ted Ginn who isn't the greatest but he provides something we don't have, speed. Wheaton PIT, Pryor is up and he looks good, Desean Jackson, Kenny Stills, and Jaron Brown as well. What do you guys think?

The Dolphins just released Justin Hunter. I hear the guy has all the measurables with Randy Moss potential...

Only true hope for this play is he throws it long before the actual break... anticipation.

Even then, zipping it to the left wr requires getting it over the LB... and then before those two dbs can break on it... yea no. Lol

Play design is by far the most disheartening part of the 1st 3 weeks. I don't care who your players are, if your plays suck, then no one will look good.

I know its only week 4, and there are a lot of new pieces and what not, but that was everyone's biggest fear after the robiskie hire, and it seems to be playing out exactly the way we all feared it would. An old guy that hadn't been an OC in forever is calling terrible plays ... imagine that.

I have little hope that it will change. It's basically wasting a year of MMs development.

If our 2 WRs get open against 7 defenders, then they need to work harder. No excuse not to find a soft spot with 60 yards to play with

Yeah, 100% that play call was dead and had no chance for anything. 2 targets out there, nothing over or underneath. Pitiful
