That's not true. He's tough. I've seen him pull in several catches where he was inevitably going down hard. You just have to hope he can put on at least another 10 lbs. so he can withstand that in the NFL. But I have no doubt he would put himself on the line for his team.

And this is what happens when fans actually start buying into the "we need good hardworking blue collar players and not athletes with playmaking ability" narrative.

The fact is, we need players with elite athletic ability AND good character/work ethic.

Players with the former but not the latter...

    Pac man jones.
    Ben troupe
    Jared cook
    Kenny Britt
    DGB

The list goes on for miles.

Frankly, we get more out of the less talented, hard working guys.

Look at the patriots. They have very few mind blowing athletes on that team.

What they do have are 53 guys who show up to work and work as a team.

Sharpe made some tough, contested catches in traffic with a DB all over him. It's not fair to say he didn't because that isn't true.

I think DGB is actually a hard worker. He's just a big dummy.

Nobody ever said that we don't need talent. But Julio Jones wasn't exactly sitting around in the 5th. You have to take what you can get.

When you say "some" does that mean 3 catches?

From what I remember, Tajae did fine with the opportunities he got. The ball didn't go his way a whole lot. Maybe that was his fault, I don't know.. But as far as catching the ball when it was thrown to him he did fine from what I recall.

I never expected him to be great...so he was about what I expected. He has a chance to developed and be a decent WR, IMO.

I think Sharpe will have a career similar Mason. But where it took Mason year three or four to catch on. Hopefully Sharpe catches on at year two or three.
