Why is Webster still with us?

    There has been speculation but nothing thus far that he's a goner in the off-season but how in the hell has he kept his job with Whiz being canned. Is there any reason we can't have an interim GM like the Lions just did?

    Im hearing he A.) was not the one behind the Whiz hire, Im hearing that was Tommy Smith's doing. And B.) the last draft was a Whiz called draft.

    So based off that info Webster is in the clear for now..

    also, its pretty damn dumb to fire your GM after the trade deadline.. What could a new guy possibly do at this point?

    Well if he isn't making coach hires and not responsible for drafting, why the hell is he still here? I thought the point of having a GM is have somebody in place who is specifically responsible for personnel, salary cap etc?
