May 16 is the arbitration hearing about us locking McNair out of the facilty. Those Ravens fans are assuming that the arbitration will result in McNair being released, and they'll get him for free. Mac is asking for them to release him if they won't let him work out. Not sure how it will rule, we'll see...

Well, in following the ratbird's logic, a ruling in favor of McNair, which would allow him to workout at BSP, equates to a release and a ticket to the batcave. Home of the only offensive mind in the NFL.

I really don't know why it changes anything regardless. McNair is still going to want a long-term deal and the Titans will only want to keep him for one more season.

How many season-ending injuries have happened at workouts or OTAs?

  6. It won't change the fact that McNair will still be a Titan. He would just have to be allowed to practice with the team...

It's my understanding that he's asking for a release or to be allowed to practice. They could grant him his release.

McNair is seeing daydreams of fame and fortune in the Ratbird's nest now... If he joins in practicing with the Titans, everyone will feel like they are playing along side the enemy... or at least that's the way I'd feel. I say the Titans are making sure not to breath on McNair the wrong way right now, so that he doesn't have anymore ammunition than the tiny amount that he already has against them. That way, they hopefully will make good in this hearing and keep McNair only to trade him to his new found "dream." In turn, the Titans will get something in return for the battle scarred QB.
