Power eye: Rams want RB Richardson
    Source: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/blog/rob-rang/18495703/power-eye-rams-want-rb-richardson

While Jackson is the only game-changer on the roster, he turns 29 in July, and coach Jeff Fisher, offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer and general manager Les Snead all grew up in the NFL with a philosophy of winning with power football. Jackson has missed just two games the last three seasons, but he has regularly played hurt.

That's why it's not a surprise that the Rams have clearly set the line for Alabama's Trent Richardson with their first-round pick (sixth overall).

Just imagine, Fisher trades UP to pick Trent...ohh my

Even if you forget for a minute that Steve J is an amazing player who still got a couple years left in him still. In the modern game, an LT and WR are far more important, especially when they are team needs.

I mean there are a lot of reasons i don't miss Fisher, but this one got me....

I'd imagine Rams will take Kalil or Blackmon if Richardson isn't available.

    I don't miss Fisher because he's a bad coach.

Fischer is a great coach. If this were the 1980's. He just apparently hasn't gotten the memo that this is a passing league now.

I used to hate the fact that you could basically just wait, turn on the t.v. in the final five minutes, and just watch and see if we made the field goal or not.

    So far, Munch >>>> Fischer

Do you spell Fisher wrong on purpose? It is fairly easy to spell just sound it out.

I dont miss Fisher either...but not because he supposedly wants Richardson. He was stubborn, which consistently led to him making one bonehead decision after another, because he refused to adapt, and adjust. He had more than enough time here...it was time to move on

LOL! Richardson and SJAX? Wow. Yes, SJAX is getting old; and is always knicked up... but still you can draft a later round RB and have him be a solid backup for SJAX.

Rams need to be hoping for Mo Claiborne and then go WR 2nd round

Trent Richardson will be as good as the 20th best RB in the league today.

He'll keep a job, but he wont be anyone special. That's for sure. Average as an RB gets outside of his strength. Which means, he'll be better at picking up blitzes than actually running the football.
