Not sure you can pass on Williams after that performance.
Give me Williams at #5 then a CB or ILB with our next pick
Williams/Lattimore (or wilson)
Depending on FA I'd also take Hooker or OJ Howard.
God I hope we take Williams at 5.
Mainly because fry will having an epic meltdown, and possibly a coronary.
Fry wants a Guard at #5.
5. Tennessee Titans (via Los Angeles Rams) - Mike Williams, wide receiver, Clemson
Marcus Mariota had an incredible season for the Titans, but just imagine where this offense could go if Mariota had a legitimate No. 1 receiver. Mike Williams can be that guy
I laughed my asssss off!
I disagree. I think the combine allows you to see if a player is as fast as he looks on film. Or as explosive, strong, etc.
If you think Foster is an extremely explosive athlete and he has a poor broad jump, you might want to go back and watch again. I don't think there are many GM's and scouts who put a whole lot of stock into the combine, it's just another way to gauge how accurate your reports are on a guy.
see even youre saying combine times are basically nothing
the tape sells a guy, the combine just confirms what you thought you already know
combine on its own is a waste, always refer to the tape
Yes the combine is way overhyped. That wasn't the part of your post I was disagreeing with, however.
