He is averaging nearly 7 yards per carry this postseason, unlikely he takes MVP but possible

The odds are it will be a QB based on history, but sometimes it is a WR or RB and rarely a defensive player.

I see the 49ers winning. I don't see Gore busting any big runs. I could see LaMichael James bust a pretty long TD run and maybe have a couple receiving TDs as well. I've been glad to see the 49ers start using him this postseason as I was interested to see how he would do in the pros.

I expect the ravens to eat the option read in this game. They know as soon as they stop that they can start getting blitz heavy and attack Kaeps inexperience

I have a (terrible) feeling the Ravens win. Kaepernick isn't ready for this stage

That's just it, the kid is a spring chicken, he doesn't even know what's in store for him.

And thats no knock on the guy, I think it'll do him some good. He's too inexperienced to get rattled by confusing defenses he'll just run if he's unsure of what to do.

Basically the only thing Kaepernick can do to prove he is legit is to have long term success. The reason is because very few running QBs seem to last in the NFL. Many have instant success, and are then quickly forgotten about within 2 or 3 years it seems like.

I'm not saying guys like Kaep can't be successful for a long time, but the only way they can prove it is to do it. One year just isn't enough, especially when that style hasn't had much success in the NFL before. For me I am still in 'wait and see' mode with him.

I knew Kaep would have early success, he has Vince Young jersey in his closet after all.

Also no guy named Dennis is going to win a Superbowl MVP.
