    Simple change, but it makes the "dagger" and the logo look alot better IMO.

    Lots of great logos in there, for sure, but those are corporate logos and not really applicable here. Sports logos follow totally different guidelines in most cases, because their intended purpose is totally different.

    Case in point: The FedEx logo is one of the greatest logos of all time, but it would be the worst NFL logo of all time.

    The bevel is what makes those logos work (or at least come close to working). Looks really generic without it. Definitely not an improvement, IMO.
