ok...you might be right, but that still doesn't mean we're not still super thin at LB...idk why I thought ayers was injury prone. He does have an ankle injury right now though, and we really don't need to rush him back into action if he ain't ready.

I wish we could have kept Doyle over Quinn Johnson. I just don't see the appeal with Johnson. If we need someone to act like a bulldozer Thompson loves him some pancakes!

They chose to keep Matt McGloin instead of Wilson.

I wouldn't advocate putting him on the 53-man roster because we'd likely have to cut Preston to do it, but I've pretty much given up on Rusty. The only thing Rusty has at this point is experience in the system.

I'm just hoping Locker works out and we bring in a younger guy next year who can be a solid #2, because apparently no one thought Rusty was capable of that.

He has a sore ankle and was never even put into a walking boot. Most likely we just didn't want to get him hurt stupidly in the preseason and the two weeks off have healed him. He is playing against the Steelers.

Wilson has some deceptive college tape apparently. However his inability to make calls caused him to drop to the 4th string behind Terrell Pryor and some other dude idk. Like its bad. Raiders somehow got worse than the raiders.

    Agreed.

Unless some capable starter comes along, we have what we are going to have for the season and I dont think it should change.

Wow, Tyler Wilson once was considered a 1st round QB.. Crazy how things pan out in just a few short years.

Yeah, but he went #8 the following year.

Tyler's situation is a lot more different. He went from potential 1st round pick, to being drafted by the Raiders in the 4th (who don't even have a legit QB) then to being cut.. That's a huge fall off a cliff.
