I'm telling you guys, not only will Vinny Curry not be there for us in the 2nd. He is going to go 1st round. He was way undervalued when he was first originally projected to go in the 2nd. He's done everything to increase his stock. He's a late round 1 guy.
I can't believe no one has really talked about this on here but Luke Kuerchly came in for a visit. If he's there at 20 he may be the pick.
I would prefer to go D Lineman the first two picks Situation 1 Round 1) DT Devon Still (DT's make linebackers and d ends better, not the other way around) Round 2) DE Vinny Curry (He goes hard every snap. I love guys that work hard, but there is no substitute for athleticism on the field, and he has it by the ton) Round 3) C David Molk (Strong as an ox, could be a mauler in the middle) Situation 2 Round 1) DE Whitney Mercilus (Get an athletic DE and help with the depth at that position. We get after the QB we take this defense to top 15-top10) Round 2) DT Brandon Thompson (IDK if he will last this long, but he has the strength to really anchor the middle of our line) Round 3) C Mike Brewster
Trade down, because I'd be happy with any of them besides the CBs. Just don't think we need to draft one high at this point this year. Move down 5 spots and pick up another pick.
Just watched some videos on Brockers against UGA and MSU and wasn't impressive at all, I'm a little skeptical about him now. He got pushed around a bunch.
i voted cox....i think he has tremendous upside and will fit in with us along with having a good chance of being there when we pick still too
If DeCastro doesnt fall I will be happy with Stephon Gilmore, Whitney Mercilus, or Cordy Glenn. Barron if he runs a sub 4.5 40 would be acceptable as well.
