Of course if we took the best parts of both teams we'd have a better team! However, our offense ended up scoring more points than your "better" offense. I'm glad that we have a defense that makes our offense better, rather than having a defense that makes our offense worse.

    1. That presumes that something will happen this year that hasn't ever happened yet. I don't think you can presume it, you've been saying you've had a "great shot" for six years now.

    2. What will we be left with? Hmmm, division titles, playoff wins, an AFC Championship and a superbowl apearance. Unless the Texans win the Superbowl, we'll always have plenty of things to look down at you with....

I'd trade Gage for A. Johnson... who wouldn't? A. Johnson is the Texans offense... but that's it. I'd keep Scaife over Daniels and C.Johnson over Steve Slaton... Slaton is alright... I like our new running back just fine. As for Schaub... **** Schaub. He sucks. Sage Rosencopter is better than he is... at least against the Titans.... Collins is old... but he has more game than Schaub..

as for Crumpler... He needs to get his act together in training camp or they should cut him... I'm thinking he might be completely different next year... who knows... ?

but Texans fan... you are talking about your players like you have Peyton and Reggie Wayne or something... Schaub is nothing special. A. Johnson is though.

LMAO! You wrote all of that garbage when the actual point was about us racking up all our yards vs. prevent defenses??? When in fact you can point to MAYBE 3-4 quarters total of the entire season??? Hilarious.

And yes we won 8 games... but doesn't mean we were not a better team than our record. We played the toughest SOS of ANY 8, 9, or 10 win team in the NFL last year. This while having to play our first 3 games on the road (first in NFL history), having to play 5 consecutive playoff teams from the year before (NFL first), and not to mention having a hurricane devastate our city and thus having our bye week (if thats what you want to call it) in week 2. It was a horrible start...yet we still were able to get back on track and go 8-4 over the last 12 games.

Like it or not... the Texans will be a threat for the division from here on out imo. I will gladly eat crow if Kubiaks plan falters, etc. But to me the future looks like the Texans and the Titans right now. Of course Colts will be there until Manning leaves... but its an interesting time for them too. But of course, its impossible for the Texans to get any better and be a contending team. IMPOSSIBLE around here anyway.

Bo Scaife over Owen Daniels?? Thats a good one! The only one you have any bearing on is CJ over Slaton... thats definitely a close one.

Please feel free to find all my posts stating that. I have NEVER predicted playoffs... not once. In 07 I predicted 8 wins (dead on). Last year I predicted 9 (one short thanks to rosencopter). Next year it looking more like 9-11 wins depending on what we do this off season. Im not locking anything down yet. But if I do end up predicting playoffs... it would be a FIRST. You *** fans act like we dont know what NFL football is or something? Dont forget we have had an NFL team in our backyard many moons longer than you Tennheads have.

And yes... clearly we have work to do on Defense. It will be THE focal point of our off season. We have already replaced our weak D Coordinator who is now coaching LBs or something elsewhere. Kubiak has now gotten the guy he has wanted all along in charge of our D.

Bookmark. I guess me wanting playoffs is kinda like you guys dreaming of winning a super bowl right? But only one is possible? Right? See how retarded that is? There is a first time for everything.

You've said this twice. Congrats, you had the hardest schedule of the mid level teams... but not the playoff teams. So other teams played harder schedules than you did and still made the playoffs. Weak sauce.
