    Interpretation of Texan Fan's feelings.

I'm mad that the Oilers left town and I want to blame it on Tennessee, therefore I hang out at a Titans forum and stir up ****.

It would make me feel better if the Texans were good, but they are not, therefore I have to resort to stadium/city/logo smack talk.

It burns me up that the Oilers never made it to the Super Bowl and they went to Tennessee and almost immediately got there.

I wait in eager anticipation for the day when the Texans have something to crow about and I will crow louder than anyone ever has, but it is taking too long for that day to get here, so I come up with aforementioned stadium/city/logo smack.

Everything else is just a mooooooooot point.

If you want to get technical. Then winning Super Bowls is all that really matters.... right? Everything else is just ticky TACK talk then.

Its like do you really think your MLB team there in Nashville would be bragging if they went to the World Series like the Astros did...only to lose? lol... hell no. Its all about WINNING the damn thing.

Your right, it is about winining superbowls but first you have to win games and get to the playoffs in order to get there. We may not have a superbowl title but it least we put a winning product on the field thats going to compete for one

If you really want to get technical, let's talk about fan experience. Most Sundays I show up on gameday expecting to have a good chance at winning. Can you honestly say the same thing? Not unless you're delusional.

Also, what is this MLB thing? Is that minor league football or something? :grrhee:

And the point remains the same. Both teams zero wins in 09... and zero wins in the Super Bowl. Both clean slates to me.

i guess having the texans in town isn't good enough therapy to help you cope with the loss of the Oilers, so you have to troll hardcore over here to make yourself feel better....just give it up brotha

except you've never sat on your couch, turned on espn and heard them talk about your team being 10-0... that was kind of surreal... for the entire season we felt like we had a real shot... of course it didn't happen... but there was a real good chance...

It's a lot better than just winning a few as the season winds down, finishing 3rd and wondering if that's something to build on... and it sucks to be the #1 seed and blow it... again... yeah, Super Bowls count more than anything but it's a 21 week process to even get in the playoffs... and at least Tennessee has done that twice in a row and 6 of the 10 years the team has been in Nashville.

I've seen three Tennessee Titan teams finish 13-3... That's a whole lot of good football watching wondering what would happen in the postseason. When are the Texans ever going to make the playoffs anyways?

Really, I need to congratulate your Texans for winning one over one of the better Titans teams ever. It was only the third time the Texans had ever beat the Titans. Our 2004 team just wasn't very good so those wins don't mean as much.

Great, so now both are franchises are equal to the 0-16 Lions. 13-3, 0-16 no difference.

Really, the superbowl is the ultimate goal, but all the other games and accomplishments matter too.
