Bulluck and Thornton...because, they're just flat out better players.

  5. One thing is sure..... The presence of two dominating linebackers will allow the DBs to concentrate more purely on stopping the pass instead of being completely expected to stop the run on the part of the field where Bulluck isn't. There was a lot of talk during this past season about corners and safeties not stopping the run. That is a shame because, anytime a run play went anywhere opposite of Bulluck, the D-Line and other linebackers were either too slow or ineffective forcing the corners and safeties to make the play which in the case of runs was the last line of defense. Unfortunately, there were times in which this was highly exploited by good opposing team offensive coordinators, in particular, vs Pittsburgh (Willie Parker) and vs Miami (Ricky (suspended) Williams). So I for one and all Titans should hope that Bulluck and Thornton are dominant. They are both fast and ferocious for sure. Hopefully they will have the effect of the Broncos LBs (Broncos were #2 in league vs run).
