Where the F is Cook?

    The utilization of Cook remains an enigma. I see him now getting early separation. He makes the catches and gets great YAC. Palmer and Hasslebeck seem bent on directing (forcing) balls to Williams and Hawkins.

    Anybody see any reason why we shouldn't be sending more balls Cook's way? I just haven't seen any reason to justify how little we are using his skills. I think he is in the right place more than Hawkins for sure.

    Yesterday, they were throwing to the outside because of Freeney and Mathis. Combine that with the D versus the Colts and the extra effort towards the run game and there really wasn't any need to throw down the field.

    Now if the question is why isn't Cook lining up outside, I really don't know...

    I love this team and am glad we won, a W is a W. BUT did we not look pathetic out there?

    We should have put up 50 points on these clowns.

    He's not always in the right place and he doesn't always make the easy catch. The coaches don't trust him. I think it's that simple.

    pretty sure munch was trying to get a sign of a running game going by running it 28 times...

    back on the subject... i also want to know what's up with cook.... graham started today for some reason...

    I don't think so. I haven't seen that many drops. He makes the catches thrown to him. I'm more inclined to believe Palmer has plays designed that have him lower on the check-down list Hasslebeck pulls the trigger before he gets there. He seems to catch the majority of balls thrown to him where is the primary receiver.

    This may be the biggest factor, Hasselbeck pulls the trigger quick and doesn't want to hold the ball for long, but we may need more Primary plays for Cook.
