1.Letting every QB we play burns us through the Air.

2.Getting terrible field position on Returns.

    3.Soft Hitting, Missed Tackles.

    4. Fisher running the ball on 3rd and 8 at out own 12 yard line.

LMAO! CLASSIC Fisher right there. Call a play with hopes of not giving up a safety. Why play for first downs right?!?

It's not like that's worked for us twice now or anything.

Not a bad call at all. If we actually try to pick up the 8 yards on 3rd down, we're going to be predictable and 70-80% of the time we won't convert. So, why not hand the ball of to the fastest man in the league and see what he can do with it?

The defense mainly, but a bit of everything. And are people really complaining about running it on 3rd and long? With VY/KFC starting throwing to Nate Washington caliber receivers? Lol.

youre right 70-80 % of the time we dont convert, maybe even lose a yard.

That means the other teams will have great field position with the punt landing on 45-50 yard line. i dont like giving good QB's a short field like that.

I think the odds of picking up 8 yards through the air is higher than running it. and teams know we will run it. we gotta have more faith in VY and the WR's. CJ didnt touch the ball once last year on the last drive vs the Cardinals. And Britt made a huge catch to keep the drive going.

I just hate seeing us not even try when we are deep in our own redzone. Fisher gives up way to easy. run , short pass, run, punt! if we going to punt we might as well pass it trying to pick up the 1st down.

I was talking about when we pass the ball... 70-80% of the time we don't convert. So, yes, our opponent would have great field position if we pass and don't convert.

The odds of picking up 8 yards through the air is always higher than running it... unless it's 3rd & 8 from your own 12 yard line as you already said! They know we're going to run it? No, they don't. When it's 3rd & 8 from your own 12 yard line, the other team will always assume run. I'd love to see the statistics, percentages, etc. of teams running the ball on 3rd & long deep in their own territory... maybe 10%???

Now, the opponent may think in the back of their head that "it's the Titans, we've got to be ready for a HB draw." That being said, there's no way they're putting 8 or 9 in the box to stop the run on a 3rd & long at the 12 yard line. If they stack the line, preventing the run, VY audibles and our opponent gets burned for possibly a huge play.
