I had a CB in the 70's. That counts as "internet" right?

I remember I was like 10 or 11 and we had an old Compaq. I used to play Carmen Sandiego on it :p

  4. I had a TI-99/4A (Texas Instruments) back in the early 80's. I can't remember it being good for too much other than playing chess, but I suspect I had other games with it...

I used to have one where I put in a tape casette and it would play games. Don't remember what it was called but it was pretty cool.

This was back in the mid-80s

I remember we first got the internet in 1996. I remember just because the summer Olympics were in Atlanta and that's all the internet consisted of back then: 4 pages of Dominique Moceanu fan pages and then yahoo.com.

Chat rooms were the thing then.

I remember my friend had this computer back in the late 80s and it played Leisure Suit Larry on floppy disk. That game was tripped out, you could buy a prostitute, drink and smoke.

Carmen San Diego was fun too. Did y'all ever see the game "Freedom" on the old Apple computers? It was about a runaway slave. And they had it at my school here in Texas in the 80s.

The Oregon Trail was my s)!+

My first computer was bought in like 96 at Sears, but it never got opened til 99 (just in time for Y2K).

I actually had an old Macintosh that sat on a desk collecting dust my entire time in elementary school. It had real floppy disks that were 6x6 or something huge. The only thing it did was word processing. So if I wanted at 7 years old I could type something up.
