Honestly... I really don't care what system is brought in with a new head coach as long as we win with it.

I truly hope that Ruston and TL aren't dictating to candidates what they want in a system. If thats the case then we will be right back where we started...

So we know that the FO wanted a return to our run heavy O this last year. Does this stay true for this next year?

He also likes head case players. I really want to stay away from those PAC man esc players.

I don't understand this whole run first philosophy when rules are making it easier to pass. Also why would we draft KW in the first and JH in the second the past two drafts to become a run first team? Sounds like we have an identity crisis.

hopefully a average balance but if its favored, make it favored to the passing side, locker wasnt that bad the first 4 games before the injury

Why not try to improve your team in every facet? Just because you're "run first" doesn't mean you don't have to throw. I think the FO did all they could to improve the run game so they went to improving the pass game as well.

I like a Roman a lot, Bevell as well. I like Zimmer too, but prefer an offensive minded guy.

I've been a Zimmer advocate but gotta admit you may very well be right. Same sort of deal with Perry Fewell. He's always one of the usual suspects for HC vacancies yet he never gets hired.

Since people want to keep saying top rushing teams are in the playoffs...

    by yards:

    Eagles - Bounced round 1.
    Bills - no.
    9ers - ok.
    Seahawks - ok
    Redskins - no.
    Jets - No
    Packers - ok.
    Vikings - no.
    Chiefs - Bounced round 1.
    Panthers - ok.
    Raiders - no.
    Chargers - ok.
    Titans - haha

Note all the "run" teams that are in the playoffs have a franchise QB that is elite or close to it. The rest? Done.
