I'll be visiting from DC for the game this Sunday, and i'd like to know what I can do to occupy my time on Saturday night in Nashville. I should get there around 6:00 pm saturday, and i'm at a hotel a half mile away from LP field. So what is there to do, keeping in mind that I don't like country music. I also wanna buy a KVB or Chris Hope jersey, and i'd like to know where to buy one and not pay rape stadium prices. Also for those of you who'll be in attendance, i'll be the skinny white guy wearing a red Eddie George jersey.
The Titts at Windows on The Cumberland is the undrground rock event of the weekend to check out.. 515 Second Ave. S. Nashville , TN37201 615-251-0097
That may be an exaggeration. There are plenty of people who like it, just also many people who don't. But it's a big part of nashville, love it or hate it.
Hit Broadway and 2nd Ave... You don't have to be a country fan to like music do you?? There's much more than country here, as far as music is concerned anyway... If you don't like live music (ugh ugh your nuts) but there are plenty other options.
If Country isn't your thang, there's always "The Rock Block" - several clubs/bars/shoppes grouped together on Elliston that operate pretty much outside the Nashville norm..
--ON FOOT-- start at the Arena (Sommett Center) go down Broadway (from 5th to 2nd) - lots of bars/bbq's turn left onto 2nd Ave. - higher end clubs walk up to Church (Hooters at corner) - cool beer joint to under Hoots turn left up Church a wee bit to Printers Alley - nightlife more stuff to do than you'll probably be able to in this 'square'
