Glad to know you can actually afford that! Athletes make way too much money as it is and I refuse to pay to watch them when I can watch them for free at home!

I'm crazy broke this year. I wanted to at least go to the Chargers game. My sister is a huge Chargers fan and has never been to a football game yet. Would have been fun, but alas...

True. My point is that he said he only went when it was free to him. Which mean he is missing games he could be going to if only he paid for it himself. Not a great fan if you ask me. I understand $ being a reason not to do though. Its not cheap going to games even if the Ticket is free.

$$$ spent isn't the ultimate measurement of fanhood. Everyone's situation is different so it's lame to judge it that way.

I live in NC and I've been to 3 titans game. Not once have I had to pay for the ticket and now that I got the hookup I will be going to a game every year, for free of course. Gas is pretty expensive so I consider that paying!

I can see that. In certain cases where I paid to see the Titans.. I would have much preferred to just go to the local sports bar, pay for reasonably priced food and drinks, and watched the game for nothing. In Hockey, IMO, it's worth the pay for the crowd interaction. in LP field, it's been dead quiet for years, comparing to other stadiums.

Yeah when I went to my first Titans game in was the 07 season and the atmosphere was twice as good as the last game I went to. Now that could have been b/c there were more bears fans than titans fans or the fact that we were getting blowed out!

It's been embarassingly quiet in the stadium the past few years.

I know man I hate this "new school" football. We need to bring back the smash mouth style of football and hit you in your face intensity. The fans can play a big part in how intense a team plays and we need to bring that intensity level way up and get more rowdy!
