What game(s) are you playing now?

Here is what I think they should have done...

Have all 5 episodes ready for release at $25 price OR you can pay $50 for all 5 and you have pre-ordered 5 future episodes to come out "monthly". If you don't pre-order they should charge like $8 per episode.

I think this would've helped with the delay, because the episodes are so short. And this would have made them more money. Of course we are also talking twice the game here. But when all is said and done, those 5 episodes can probably be beat in a 12 hour playthrough or quicker.

Honestly, I'm fine waiting one month between episodes. I kinda like having something to look forward to. But when one month turns into two, that's when I get pissed.

Particularly since they failed to even communicate the problems with the customers like myself that have already paid $25 for all the episodes.

Oh, another game where you shoot zombies, that's new and exciting.

If it looks like it is going to turn out to be a solid game, I'll buy it. It'll be more original than Madden.

With a development team like Terminal Reality, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

It could always be worse.... right?

I know I'm in the minority here, but I am not a big fan of FPS. Gets real boring real quick to me. But I'll check this one out if it gets good reviews. I like that they are saying ammo will be scarce in the game. That's the biggest problem I have with "horror" games these days. Ammo and weapons are just lying around everywhere. I miss the days of like early Resident Evil/Silent Hill where you'd have like 5 bullets. Some baddies you'd have to run/hide from instead of just wasting everything in sight. That really added to the suspense of the game. Most games that pass for horror these days are just regular old action games with monsters thrown in.

Industry changes fast. It will be interesting as to what will be happening 10+ years from now.
