What exactly is wrong with L. Thompson?

    I see him play and he looks decent to me. Look at his stats and he is just about in the top 5 in every category. So what's wrong? Has he had to much time to try to prove himself? Is he underachieving? What?

    No. He used to be. Pac-10 record holder for most INTs in a college career with...24! WTF, you say? Exactly. What happened. He has a neck injury (fused vertebra?), so it has been speculated that he is a little gunshy, but he sure has laid the big hit in the past.

    Maybe bigtitan53279 is right. Maybe he lost his instincts. Maybe he needs contacts. Maybe Schwartzification has confused him. He seemed to be the answer for a minute, but that time has long passed. Maybe he and Woolfolk were abducted by aliens on the same night. I dunno. Elfinmagic should ask him. He and Tank went in the same round in 2002. It seemed we ended up with two of the top safeties in that draft. Maybe he has just hit his peak sooner and is on the decline.

    I watch all the games that are televised. Which is about 14 of them. Since I live in North Alabama. When I see him though he doesn't look that bad. I do see many flaws in him. I just thought he was better than what everyone was saying.

    Stats don't tell much of the story.

    LT is consistantly out of position and it has been those lapses that have cost the Titans many big plays and points.

    The same can be said of some other players who have some big stats .
