What does it look like if the Pats just lay a huge beatdown on the Colts?

Colts and Patriots are clearly the two best teams in the NFL

 

Ya know, I dont disagree with that. But, if we could get a little more consistent with our passing game, Im not sure we are that far behind those teams. I didnt think either was overly impressive today. Obviously, we had a legitimate shot at beating Indy, and after watching the game today I think we could run on NE, and I think we could get pressure on Brady and really disrupt their passing game. Im not saying we are as good as either right now, but Im not sure we arent a bit closer than most people think.

 

Patriots waited til the Colts got ahead 10 until they started playing the way I expected them to for the first 3 quarters.
But they still made it look easy. It was inevitable. When the Colts got their last TD with 9 mins to make it a 10 point game, I knew what was about to happen. A TD drive by the pats. Then when Peyton got the ball back with 3 minutes, I knew what was going to happen. Then when the pats got the ball back and needed that first down, everyone knew what was going to happen.
Regardless of how great the colts played for 3 quarters and how terrible the Pats played for 3 quarters, we all knew who was going to win when it was a 10 point game. We just were wondering where that team had been all game.

Patriots played their worst today though. Don't give the Colts more credit than they deserve for Brady making unusually bad throws and Moss unusually dropping easy catches. (that Addai TD was pure luck, and so was that Interception the colts got.)

 

Gloat and brady.... Cute couple..

I don't know what game gloat was watching but good plays are not luck. The pats realized that since the colts had no other WRs other than wayne they just bracketed him and blitzed like hell.

Gloat i know this hurts to say but even tommy brady is capable of making an occasional incomplete pass. I know you are a HUGE fan but it is true.

 

2 best teams.....and then what?

Lions?


I would say the steelers are 3rd but we are in the mix with the rest of those teams. Being more complete on offense is certainly a key..
