    The knock on Bose NC is that the phones fall apart after 3 years and that the sound is colored.
    Both are true - but the sound coloring is done in a manner that improves move band-oriented music. Most folks don't want flat monitors anyway.
    Sennheiser excels in open back models - which isn't my ball of wax but what they do - they do very well.
