....swallowing his pride and giving up OC duties to Mike Mularky. He can technically swap responsibilities with Michael, who was the TE's coach at San Diego, IIRC.

The offense needs to be shaken up, in terms of personnel (mainly at the RB position) choices and playcalling. Whisenhunt would have to completely leave it in Mularky's hands, and not micro-manage the guy. Mularkey got his 2 previous HC stints because he was a successful OC at Atlanta. His Falcons went 13-3. He also was OC for the Steelers.

Whisenhunt won't do it, though. He is too stubborn to do so. Garrett did that at Dallas. He had good credentials as an OC, but decided to hand it over to someone else, so he could focus on managing the game.

He's not going to give up play calling. He doesn't think play calling is the problem.

Yeah, he could hand it over to the TE coach, or he could hand it over to the actual OC

I don't think he knows there is a problem.

I like your enthusiasm, but you gotta let this one go....no head coach is ever going to be demoted to coordinator or for that matter demote himself. So let's just get him fired.

Ever notice that when we write about something enough on here, Kuharsky starts to talk about it and then writes something on ESPN, then Whiz actually takes the advice? This week it was give a RB the majority of the carries...

Did you read anything? Mularkey HAS REAL OC credentials. Jason Michale DOES NOT! Geesh people.

A lot of things can save Whiz: a lack of ownership, a GM that is just as clueless as he is, selecting a QB #2 less than six months ago.

Winning could save him too...but I'm pretty out there with these crazy thoughts.

Come on guys....what ever happened to READING COMPREHENSION here? That's two posts straight, where neither bothers to read what is said. Good grief.

I never said to hand over HC duties! I said to hand over PLAYCALLING/OC DUTIES! Hello?

So what ever happened to us trying to establish a power running identity? Was that just something we were trying to do for a game? Haven't tried it since.

    GG, Whiz.
