But for real, I would cut Stevens. Sign Hoomanwanui (could be had for like 2yr/3mil), who will produce just as much as Stevens. Then I would look for TEs starting Round 4/5, likfe C.J. Fiedorowicz, Arthur Lynch, Crockett Gillmore, & Marcel Jensen. All are 6'5+ and the lighest is 258. Pickup one of these guys and they battle with Thompson for the 3rd TE spot.

Outside of Ebron the only TE's i'd consider late are AC Leonard, Colt Lyera, and maybe the kid out of Florida Burton. All undersized, athletic TEs with good enough hands. Not the best blockers but they bring something to the table that we lack.

One word with too many syllables :p

And instead of "What about the TEs?" I ask what about TE?

The idea is to replace Stevens with a young guy who can block and catch. And nobody is talking about trading away future picks but rather acquiring an additional pick to get that player. What of we could trade back 6-7 picks, get a third and still draft the top Te in the draft?

I have been one of Stevens biggest supporters on this board but to go from 23 catches to just 2 it's time for the door. Any scrub can do that.

I don't know. Are you talking about trading back in the 1st for Ebron? I think he does look amazing but there some OLBs/ILBs in 1st round that could be more beneficial in the short and long term.

I won't complain (much) as long as we aren't trading up for guys like Cook and Stevens. I'm very tired of trading up to draft TEs.
