As long as he got his foot amputated I'd welcome him back in a rotational role

I thought Jennings was alot older than 29 (turned 29 in Sept). He's got another 2-3 years of good productivity (if healthy). I'd be more than happy to sign him for a 4 year deal.

This thread is about Welker. If you want a Jennings thread, wait 3 minutes and JCB will have one up.

Actually if we stayed with Palmer's scheme Welker might be a guy to consider. But we really don't need him. We can use Washington or Wright in the slot and if we spend money on a FA WR it should be an outside guy that can take the top off the defense.

Welker is another player that when you take him away from Brady and the system, he maybe very average. Only other team I could see him fitting and having alot of success is the SAINTS. We would try to use him, as a wr 1 or wr 2 when he is a slot guy wr3. I wonder how good kendall wright would look in N.O or the N.E. offense? Again Brees, brady, manning, and rogers make recievers look better than maybe they actually are. This is the team that brought in randy moss and wouldn't use him. We had donnie avery on the roster and wouldn't use him, he actually looked good in Indy. Wonder what jared cook would look like with any of the teams and qb's listed above?
