They can grade him however they want, Mariota had enough time in the back to complete the passes.

That's plenty good for a backup LT in my book.

 

agreed. There is a reason he is not a starter, but I have seen enough that I believe if he had to fill in for a couple of weeks it would not be the end of the world

yeah Kelly probably not going into the hall of fame unless he buys a ticket, but he did ok.

 

He was horrible but overall the line still looked good. Crazy how we played 3 backups and still had a good day on the Oline. Probably result of an effective scheme.

 

Everyone looks better when Mariota takes it to the next level. If only he could...can... do it week to week.

 

I have no doubt he will, but it's still going to take a while for it to be a regular thing, imo.

It's the most hope I've had for this team since the glory days, and I'm glad to have been here to watch it begin .
