Then again the 2016 Titans have 11 TEs so there is that - LOL

 

The '99 team did not have a great secondary. They did have a great D line, and Bishop was a beast at Safety. I would take MM over McNair any day. Walker = Wycheck, Sharpe = Mason (maybe). Why do you think the WR core was so good? You really can't tell, because McNair never threw for many yards anyway.

 

I'd honestly take our RBs now but I know that can't be a popular opinion here. I understand it was different back in 99 but I was never the biggest EG fan.

 

Maybe one day but Mariota is not (yet) the QB Steve McNair was; as good as he was his rookie season there were games last year were he look plain bad while trying to make certain thows.

Samari Rolle is better then every CB on the roster. The secondary had to mature still but there was talent there and it just needed to come together.

Walker and Wycheck us a push though Id give the edge to Walker.

I might give you WRs but its a push at most. I forgot Mason hadnt established himself yet but our WRs were so bad last season I'm going to need to see them play well in actual games before Im willing to say their better then anybody.

99 WRs were not great, but until proven otherwise 2016s dont look to amazing either.

 

I'm not taking Murray over Eddie George anyday of the week, ever. Period. Also as high as I am on Henry let's let him play some real downs in the NFL before we say he's better then a top 50 All time RB.

Mary over McNair!!!! come on now man. I like what I have seen from the young pup, but let's not make that comparison just yet. McNair stayed on the field through some terrible injuries and led the Titans to a SB..... comparing Sharpe to Mason is a looooong stretch as well.

 

Rolle was very good, but very small, and not really a run stopper, but great defender. I was saying that OVERALL, our secondary now is better, including nickle and dime players.....unless you are a Donnie Nickey fan.....lol.
