    Yet it took 5 seasons for the big name free agent splash Drew Brees to make it to the Super Bowl.

    It only took 4 seasons for the QB Eli Manning, 3 years for the Rapistburger.

    There's no golden plan for the road to the Super Bowl.

    All big free agents signings that helped their team win a Superbowl. If the Ravens win this year add Anquan Boldin to the list.


    Clearly signing big expensive free agents is not as moronic as some thought.

    Obviously they helped their teams win rings. I was just saying if New England wins another one, it's NOT because of Chad Ochocinco. He'll be the exception. Chad also wasn't a big expensive signing. No one wanted that dude, and he only gets about $1M this year from New England.
