Taller QB's might get up from that and keep playing.

And IMO its on Jake to slide the protection to the right if there's any chance his TE (Cook) will look for the hot route and bail on chipping the defender at the line.

TItan TEs chipping at the line. I have not seen that from our team since Frank was playing TE for us. I take that back, Stevens is ok at it. Cook will never chip. I think he has a no chip clause in his contract.

Did you see that play where Cook levels the DB well after 5 yards? Thought that was funny.

Yeah. However, he is allergic to Dlinemen. He was put on skates many times in college.

Agreed but defenses carry championship teams. Just ask the ratbirds about their Superbowl. Their offense was one of the worst in the NFL.

First of all, that was not even that big of a hit. It looked pretty normal to me and clean to me. I've twice as many bad hits on a qb and them just stand up like nothing happen. It seems like everytime he gets hit, he gets hurt. Same thing last season he got hit on a play and had to come out b/c he got hurt, now he did come back in but it doesnt matter. He gets hurt to easily period!

They were the exception. And the game (rules) have changed so much in favor of passing offenses, it's harder to create a dominating defense these days.

The Titans offense has to do a better job stringing together drives just to give the defense some rest. Time of possession, along with turnover ratio, are two huge stats which, when the Titans win both, usually means they win the game.

I think McNair's last year was the worst one we had. Was also Pacman's first year. . . . . .

Only the Browns defense has played more snaps than ours so far. Hard to win that way, especially when we don't create turnovers on D.

Agreed. In addition the D must spank opposing offenses and get off the field, giving our O more possessions. 3 & out must become the worst job on the defensive side and we must keep the chains moving on O. (preferably scoring on each drive)
