Agreed. But the offense, and their inability to sustain drives, is putting the defense in a bad situation. They actually made a few stops yesterday. But, on the whole, they have to get better play from the safeties, coverage from the LBs and more pressure from the DEs. I like what's going on at DT but not having McCarthy has been a huge blow.

You'd probably be in a coma if you took that hit.

Any QB would've been out of the game.

Righttt Cause im sure brady never takes a hit like that or manning or schaub or big ben etc....That was not even close to being a bad hit compared to what schaub took last week!

Schaub also didn't have a previously dislocated shoulder, 3 weeks prior.

Jake is a solid guy, build to last. I'd say most QB's wouldn't get up front that shot he took yesterday. Jake is a tough guy, I believe he'll play next week and give our team a chance at getting back in the playoff race. 1-3 isn't the worst thing when you've seen 0-6.

I think this coaching staff knows 1-4 is a lonely place to be, so they've got to get Jake ready for the Vikings. IDK WTF Hasselbeck is thinking out there right now, but he can't be allowed to play. He's looking like the late November Hasselbeck.

If he plays next week I'll give him props, if not than I wont retract my original statement!

He has to play, he has to. Hass is trash right now, we can't afford to have him take us to 1-4.

I hope your right and I hope Jake proves me wrong b/c I really like the kid. He just needs to show some gut and toughness. There is no way that his injury would keep McNair out!

Thats true, McNair would be like "**** yea I'm playing, can't believe you'd think Im not"

I've seen Jake take some shots while at Washington, guy has guts.

Yep. That's been a problem with this team since the latter part of the Fisher era. More often than not, when things get tough this team crumbles. I used to think it was just that they gave up. Now I'm not sure if it's that or we just get nervous and try to force things or what.

All I know is you can look back at a lot of these blowout losses and pinpoint one specific play or series of plays that just completely changed the game. Or "broke our will" as you said.
