MUCH rather have Michael Bennett...he'll be cheaper and better. Being realistic, we're probably going to land a vet like John Abraham. Real cheap, yet feels a huge void(rotation DE for run situations)

We were incredibly active in FA last year, but missed out on some guys due to Peyton holding us hostage.

This year we don't have to worry about someone holding us up... I think we're going to land a couple of solid guys.

I truly cannot believe the Manning saga was an entire year ago.

Can you imagine how much things would have been different if we landed him? We very well could have been in the AFC Championship game. Oh well, no use playing what ifs.

I think we land Levitre and probably one of the pass rushers in Osi, Abe, or Freeney. Freeney is probably my #2 on that list but oh how sweet would it be for him to sack Luck a few times

I also think we grab someone unexpected as well. Maybe an outside shot on a receiver. We have the money to spend and like I have been saying all off season, they want guys to come in and make an impact from day one on top of getting Jake a go to guy. I think we are going to have a pretty deep free agency because we will get key pieces then go to the draft getting BPA in most rounds. Immediate impact is a need, but Munch and Webster are smart enough to still build for the future. Which is why you saw the Wilson signing instead of hanging on to what ifs of rookies or the 49ers tagging Golston. Right now, I am pretty optimistic about our upcoming season.

While I'm not optimistic at all about the coming season and don't think munch is looking at the future as he knows he needs to beast the first 8 games or it's knock knock mr "kill the head and the body will die" will be new coach... I do hope we make some big moves this season. Damn manning would have been nice lol

Abraham seems like the kind of guy that will retire before he signs "cheap". I remember his contract year with the Jets. Once they were out of the playoffs, he sat himself. He wanted crazy money last year. He'll want bank or a real chance at the Super Bowl.

Nope I disagree. Our line was fine in pass protection. Locker just didnt know how to step up in the pocket and he freaked out everytime a team blitzed or someone got close to him.

Jake's pocket awareness could use some work, but this line did that to him. He had no faith in them, and how could you blame him..

I dont blame him towards the end of the year when we had everyone hurt and out.

On another note, does anyone know if AP bought is O-line anything?
