Trust me. If the Titans win the game none of this will matter to you. Media knob-slobbering does not win games.

Baltimore played seven games against playoff caliber opponents and lost five of them. Tennessee played five games against playoff teams and lost only one when they sat half the team against the Colts. Why wouldn't people think the Ravens are a better team?

Good point. this isn't college ball where we have to rely on a ranking. We settle things on the field so who cares what people say? They are wrong 50% of the time anyway.

i really feel like the home field advantage is going to help us out and the media is not factoring that in

Also, remember that the Titans have been idle for almost two weeks. That's an eternity for sportswriters. All they are gabbing about are the wildcard teams. :grrhee:

now they look at the trends over the past three season and see that 1st round bye teams are (6-6) in the divisionals and then cite the #6 seed champions; Steelers, Giants... and throw in the fact the Colts were a wild card host and spin home field like it's some kind of disadvantage.

Floyd Reese and Mike Golic were on NFL Live with Suzy Kolber last night talking about Albert Haynesworth like he's forgotten how to play football, has put on 30 lbs in the past couple of weeks and no longer has any wind. What a bunch of crap. He probably hits a bag all day, lifts constantly and rips phone books in half for fun. They portrayed Albert like he was a complete slob and it's really sad considering the fact Floyd Reese was the GM that drafted him.

When was the last time a team won a super bowl with a rookie coach?

1989 with george seifert. But seifert took over the most opportune situation in sports history a super bowl winning team loaded with hall of famers and a built in system put in place by bill walsh. That team had 2 hall of fame QBs and mike holmgren was the OC.

When was the last rookie QB to win a super bowl? I don't think there has ever been one.

I think the ravens are getting way to much credit. they beat probably the worst team in the playoffs. now they are going to the super bowl. give me a break, way over rated.

No but the media coverage does help to drive the point spreads. The reason why we're only 3 point favorites is because ESPN has told everyone in the country that we suck.

Absolutely horrible analysis. No mention about how well we prevent sacks and take care of the football better than the ravens.

No mention of the experience issue.

They have 12 more turnovers than we have.

They have 24 more sacks then we do.

Joe flacco was 9-23 with a 59 rating and 3 sacks against the dolphins. What is going to happen against us?

We are a defensive front based on speed. We are deep and well rested.

Against the steelers kerry collins had time to throw. When pressured he just threw the ball away. No turnovers and only 1 sack against the most dangerous front in the league. On the other side rothlispansy was getting his head kicked in and running for his life creating turnovers. Expect a repeat.
