I don't see any connection at all. Moon struggled when he came to the NFL but they stayed with him and he had an awesome run here from 88 to 93.

 

Just doesn't seem right... CFL stats are never combined with NFL stats.

 

thats because it is not considered at the same level. Would be like combining a players ML and AAA stats, its all true but not the same level.

 

I'm pretty sure he knows what it's like for a team to let you go. He played for three other NFL teams not including the CFL. They stayed with him? If they "stayed with him" he would have at least been close to retiring as an Oiler. He played for three other teams after he was cut by the Oilers.

 

The Hall of Fame recognizes his CFL Career and Numbers. Think you should too.

 

Yeah because he was old at the time. The guy played until his 40s.

Releasing a mid career guy at 27 and a 38 year old guy are not the same thing.

Yes they STAYED WITH HIM because from 84-87 he was not that good but they stayed with him anyway.

Again if they don't relase Moon in 93 maybe they draft Kevin Carter and not Steve Mcnair in 95.
