I read somewhere it was a writing mistake but I guess they finally decided to cover their tracks.... It's pretty obvious these writers are low budget considering they STILL haven't addressed the black kid and his dad from the FIRST EPISODE... Anyways a few thoughts, -Carl is the most annoying character in the show with that grey haired dude/lady a close second. How he got a headshot is beyond unrealistic. -The pregnancy must be taking it's toll as Lori get's uglier every episode. -Something that annoyed me with the last episode, Shane brings that prisoner out and asks him where his camp is and finds out its only a few miles away off the highway. Then 5 minutes later the writers kill off the only 2 characters who know about this camp. Pretty irrelevant.
Frank Darabont is not low budget. He directed The Shawshank Redemption which is considered one of the greatest movies of all time. On top of that, he also directed The Green Mile which is also a very good movie.
I thought his complaints were fair. I enjoy reading peoples thoughts on things I like. I agree w/ TST about Carl, and especially the head shot. Aim gun at dad. Say nothing. Zombie rises and slowly comes from behind to attack Rick. Say nothing some more. Pull the trigger.
The man and his son, from the pilot, is rarely visited in the comics. Like the in the show Ricks interest in them wanes
I'm as bad as anyone when it comes to picking apart movies/shows over details, but to point associating THIS ^ with, ahem, "low budget writers" confirms my suspicion that you don't quite grasp things fully..
I mean insult me all you want what do I care. I'm just giving my opinion on the show. It's obviously done well for itself but I feel like there is a lot of room for improvement.
