VY is no Cam

Cam>VY by a long shot. I'm pretty sure Cam took snaps from under center in JC as they(Blaine JC) are a Triple Option team. His arm is stronger, his throwing motion is technically better, he slides well in the pocket and has pretty good accuracy. I don't see Fish,if he is still around, taking another dual threat QB though. I think he likes the way the O worked with a pocket passer in the game.

Cam's college career is a bit more impressive because VY had talent around him. All Cam has is a pretty good OL and a couple good WR's. The RB's were pretty good but they had no defense outside Fairley.

Are you forgetting that Tebow broke a rib on his first goal line carry and was sidelined for weeks after that?

Tebow's record/style and "success" has yet to be determined. Way too early to judge that IMO.

Yes. Yes, he is. Cam Newton has all the physical tools he needs to become a successful QB in the NFL. If he was available in the second then we could afford to sit him behind a guy like Donavon McNabb for and let him adjust to the NFL.

If Newton fell to the second round and we DIDN'T take him I'd be seriously pissed off.

I don't like Auburn but if our draft went Fairley and Newton I would be pretty happy.
