I thought he deserved it. And it's an achievement.

For those saying it doesn't mean anything. It does. I've said it before. It means that out of the 100 players at the position, he's in the top 9. It also means that out of the 1, 800 players in the NFL, he's in the top 100.

You don't get into the probowl unless you're an elite player in the league.

Since vince Young came into the league there have been over 250 qbs in the league. Not only is he still here. He's in the top 9. Not once, but twice. And he's only started in a little over 35 games ( 2 full seasons )

I'm a supporter of VY and not a "hater". Along the way I began to have my doubts which seemed justified but now i'm happy to see him regain his position amongst the team.

I had to clarify that before I said that this is the kind of post that "haters" thrive on. Did you not read any of this thread before posting? Not only did you glorify his pro bowl vote but went as far to say that he's top 9 in the league? Manning, Brees, Favre, Rodgers, Rivers, Palmer, Warner, Romo, and Schaub may have something to say about that. The list goes on with Mcnabb, Roethlisberger and a couple others you could argue.

I'm stoked on the vote to the probowl. And like others have said it's definitely something to be proud of as it acknowledges somekind of an accomplishment during the regular season. VY's was playing more consistently, limiting mistakes ( for what we were getting used to) and helping to make NFL history for the greatest turn around of a season. I agree that the 0-6 start was not Collins fault but VY brought something you can't put your finger on. A spark if you will. It's definitely going to be entertaining to watch the "Dynamic Duo" next season.

And speaking of the "Dynamic Duo" ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

It's really dissapointing to think CJ should be more limited on touches. I understand the thoughts behind it of course, but just thinking we will start to see less of him is a bummer. It would be nice to see him breach the 2000 yard mark a couple more times during a lengthy career with the Titans. Seeing him break a 100 every game is almost taken for granted. Like it's expected. Here's to hoping we don't lose White this offseason. Next to CJ he seems mediocre but he's a solid back to have especially in a back up role. Giving him 50 or so of CJ touches won't damage this offense. Use CJ more sparingly, bring White in more to change things up and get Ringer involved to see what he can bring for years to come.

Turn the defense around and we got a winner in 2010! :beerbang:

    Oh yeah and............... :coltsblow:

Yeah man, I'd be embarrassed about being one of the better QBs in the league too.

No REX RYAN helped get that team to the AFC Championship by limiting Sanchez's role as a passer. The Jets run game and defense is the key to their success, much akin to last years Titans.

But hey, if you think 9*-7 is better than 8-2... or 12TDs/20INTs with 2400 yards and a 63 QB rating is better than 10TDs/7INTs with 1900 yards and a 82QB rating, then yeah by all means; Sanchez got snubbed for Vince Young and should have been invited first.

Rivers, Manning, Brady... Palmer, Roethlisberger... Schaub... Young... sounds about right if I had to rank the AFC QBs this year. In the rare event all of those QBs declined, I wouldn't even invite another AFC QB.

I'm sure you would be embarrassed to play in the NFL All Star game. Ha. Maybe he wants to have some fun playing football again one last time this season?

Vince accounted for over 200 yards and 1.2 TDs per game. About the same as Flacco. He also had an 80% winning percentage.

Vince's per game stats are light years ahead of Sanchez (including about 20 points higher in QB rating).

    Congrats to Vince.

No you are not. I am one of few people who are actually disgusted with that stupid 2000k rushing yards CJ put up this year. Not only does it rub in the fact that we have a completely stupid incompetent head coach incapable of even making the play offs with the best running back in the league, it brings back memories of those 300 carries eddie george was encumbered with and had his career cut short playing for a dumb coach too stupid to create ways to utilize his offense weapons. (we didnt even know back then that we had one of the best WRs in derrick Mason until he put on a ravens jersey!!) Thanks fisher you bum!!!

Handing the ball off to CJ is not coaching! Any buffoon can come off the street and say hand the ball off to CJ 20-30 times a game!

It takes a true coach to figure out when and where to utilize his speed instead of just smacking cj up defensive walls and pray for that one time he busts one to the endzone, while forgetting the previous multiple 3 and outs you had to punt the ball!

Honestly, i worry that this year is going to feature the exact same bull sheet and poor CJ is too young and too stupid to figure out that he wont win a damn thing trying to be the typical 80s feature back! (oh wait, he will probably win another rushing record and be at home watching other teams in the play offs, apparently that crap is worth celebrating for some fans)

It wasn't the carries that cut Eddie George's career short, it was letting Lorenzo Neal go, the best fullback ever...
